Through Joint Bench
This design started as a collaboration with a great client of mine who led me to think outside of the box on how to make a strong, slim, contemporary design that featured some type of exposed Joinery.
Each panel is made up of seperate 4" strips and in the glue-up process I intentionally offset each strip the depth of the thickness of the incoming panel. This creates a very strong corner joint that can be implemented in any type of furniture project.
